PERSIA, Achaemenid Empire. Time of Xerxes II to Artaxerxes II, circa 420-375 BC. Siglos (Silver, 18 mm, 5.44 g), Lydo-Milesian standard, Sardes or subsidiary mint. Persian king or hero in kneeling/running stance to right, holding dagger and bow. Rev. Rectangular incuse punch. Carradice Type IV B (pl. XIV, 43). BMC Arabia pl. XXVII, 10. Test punch on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
